Raise your kids as a good book reader
We all want to raise our kids as a good book reader, same is with me. .
Sia and Taara both love books in their own ways. Sia always loved me to read for her and Taara, on the other hand, prefers to flip through the pages on her own for hours.
When Taara is cranky handing over a book helps me many times. Same was with Sia.
Let me share a few tips on how I helped Sia read on her at such a young age.

1. There no correct age to introduce reading to your Lil ones. Start it as early as one month old. I used to even keep a book in front of them to enjoy while they used to have their tummy time.
2.Don’t limit reading to only bedtimes or don’t limit to any specific type of books. To whoever dm me on book recommendation I always say one thing, I really don’t have any special recommendation about books and that’s because I just read whatever I get my hands on, be it a newspaper or even a pamphlet. Yes, you read it right! .

3.Kids are no less than monkeys, which means they are experts at imitating you. .

4.While you read for them keep your vocabulary clear for them to hear you and be mindful to point at each and every word that you read. This helps in memorising the words by sight.
5.Always start with the sound of the alphabet followed by the name of the alphabet. When a child starts associating an alphabet with its sound reading becomes easy.
6.I recommend an approach that is a combination of phonics and sight words. English is not a completely phonetic language and at the same time, it is impossible to memories all the words in the English dictionary, so a combination approach makes the job easy.
7.This is the ground rule to raise a book lover. Observe and try to figure out is he ready for self-read.
